Hurrah. It is now officially week of BIG AUDITION – i.e. on Friday will be winging way to Hull to secure place on BA (Hons) Drama at first choice university. In fact is now only choice as a) Scarlet already has place to do boffiny Politics and Economics there b) Sad Ed has place at substandard but very close Humberside to do not-at-all-boffiny Music Production c) have been rejected by Manchester and there is no way am going to Birmingham under Mum’s rules pertaining to traffic systems, architecture and accents. Am not at all nervous as according to John Major High’s ineffectual headmaster Mr Wilmott, my Anne Frank was ‘like nothing he has ever seen’…
